Bodlonfa Hall Country House offers tranquill accomodation set in an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with an idylic rural position enjoying far reaching views over the North Wales countryside and Clwydian Mountains. The property stands within 2 acres of its own beautifully maintained grounds. It has a large pond and decking area and is the ideal place to relax and watch the wildlife and birdlife in its natural environment. We are positioned 200m from Offa's Dyke National Trail. A short drive will take you to many golf courses, restaraunts and other attractions including Llandudno and Snowdonia National Park.
Oaklands Guest House is a large Victorian country house tastefully refurbished with beautiful architectural features. The area has many attractions to visit including castles, country park, steam railway, canal and the Thomas Telford Aqueduct which achieved World Heretage status in 2009. We also have some beautiful walks including the Offas Dyke path which is only 2 minutes stroll from our accommodation.
AA 4 **** Highly Commended Afon View is an elegant Victorian house situated in the village of Betws-y-Coed, in the Snowdonia National Park. Close to the restaurants, shops and the train station. There are 7 en-suite bedrooms. Doubles, family/twin and a single room. For those looking for something a little special, we have a four poster and luxury king-size rooms. There is a comfortable lounge with a real coal fire and all the guest rooms are furnished to a high standard with colour flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi access, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries, radio alarms and hair dryers. All of the bedrooms have views of the surrounding wooded hills and some of the bedrooms still have their original Victorian fireplaces. Patrick and Sara are dedicated to using fresh local produce and only the best will do. After a busy day you don't have to feel trapped in your room. Now fully licensed, why not enjoy a relaxing glass of something cool and refreshing in the lounge or the large conservatory. Newly added for 2010 is an evening snack menu in the week and a full 3 course evening meal at weekends. The same principles apply to evening meals as to breakfasts. Quality produce cooked to order with an emphasis on home cooked, flavoursome food. There are many reasons to commend Tan Yr Onnen but the best way to find out about this little gem is to try it.
